Poor Little Rich Girl

Poor Little Rich Girl was opened in March of 2008 as Fournier’s Petite Armoire. The name of the store was changed in January of 2009. The original store has since moved to 16th street and Bethany and opened a Second Location at 38th Street and Indian School.

Our goal is to make resale shopping and consigning fun by giving our stores a boutique feel, keeping our stores small, and being an active part of our community. We enjoy getting to know our customers and consignors. We like the small town feel of the areas in which our stores are located. We are a locally owned, small business and we like to work with others to encourage shopping locally. We enjoy catering to the needs of our customers and consignors. We thank our loyal customers and consignors for our success and hope to be able to continue to keep you coming back!

Catharine Fournier-Raslavsky

Catharine is a third-generation Phoenician who attended Madison No. 1, Xavier (99‘), and ASU. In 2003, she started selling Real Estate focusing mainly on the Historic Homes in Central Phoenix. She saw her Real Estate Business slowing with the economy and knew it was time to find something “a little more recession proof”. The idea of a Fun Resale Store caught her attention, so Catharine changed directions. Once she saw the sign go up at the Uptown Location, she really got excited and saw an opportunity to get started. She loves the small town feel of Central Phoenix. She also loves getting to know her customers and how they run into their neighbors, friends, and even family members while shopping at PLRG. She laughs about the fact that it is like a “beauty parlor” in that people really open up and have fun chatting and connecting with each other. Catharine is married to a wonderful husband, has an energetic three-year old named Jack, a funny little one-year old named Duke, and and Airdale name Ripley. She loves to spend time with her family and they mean the world to her.

 

 

John Raslavsky

John is Catharine's husband. He grew up in Paradise Valley, AZ. He attended Cherokee and then Chaparral (94). He left his career in real estate in July of 2010 to help with our growing stores. John has worked in both residential and commercial real estate since 1997 in Phoenix. John is a great dad, a devoted husband, and is continuously working hard to help out the stores. He is working on our social networking, photography, and occasionally works in the store assisting customers.
